House in Jozefow is a modern contemporary home project by ZAG Architecti in Jozefow, Otwock County, Poland. The designer created this building in 2011 above more than 3,230 square foot land. It is a rectangular two level floors building with oblique roof. It stands in the middle of a spacious grass landscape with rarely trees and other buildings. There is a stone terrace behind the dwelling that face to an additional building with wide swimming pool.
This house has simple exterior. White and glass walls are really ordinary for modern contemporary home design these days. The designer makes this house with the right sunlight directions. Natural and bright sunlight will flood the terrace and pool area during daytimes. This condition will give advantage to the occupants for having cheerful outdoor activities and even perfect tanned skin. A set of rattan chairs and table on the terrace will be great places for chatting each other while enjoying the wide and natural surroundings.
There is a living room that opens to dining and kitchen area. White tones dominate the walls and ceiling which is like the exteriors. The designer uses light woods as the space floorings. Those woods will balance the bright white nuance and give warmth at the same time. There are grayish sectional sofas there with white coffee table that stand above a red carpet. They face a white wall with wall mounted television and modern black fireplace. Glass walls on a side flood the space with natural light.
On the other side of the house, there is a home office that has darker nuance than the living room. White walls and ceiling with light wooden floor and glass walls are the bright palette for the space. The designer wants to make that space looks more masculine. That’s why there are some pieces of furniture added in home interior design modern contemporary in black and dark varnish books shelves on the wall.
